The congregation of the Eucharistic Sisters came into being in Macedonia. Its founders were a brother and sister from Italy, Giuseppe and Eurosia Alloatti. The community was founded on 21 April 1889 in Thessaloniki.

The community’s principal charism is to come to know Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist, to pray for the unity of Christ’s Church, especially among the peoples of the East, to give children and young people a Christian upbringing, and to help with the pastoral work of the parish.

The community in Skopje was founded in 1973 and serves as the provincial house, which is home to the candidacy, the postulancy and the novitiate. In our parish the Eucharistic Sisters share in the pastoral life and in the work of Caritas.
