The media group helps to shape the parish newsletter and the content of the website, designs and updates the parish website, designs the parish newsletters and posters, and writes the articles through which it informs the media about important events in the parish. It seeks to put today’s means of social communication and technology to right use in the parish — to spread the word of God and to open the paths of the new evangelisation, as the document Inter mirifica says: Christians must make more frequent use of the means of communication offered to them, filling them with a Christian spirit and so bringing the Gospel to people.
The media team was founded in 2010, when a pastoral web portal was launched by amateurs. In its day it accomplished a great deal. The first official parish website went online in March 2020, thanks to the married couple Ena and Filip Chausidis.
